GABRMN stands for "Grup d'Aplicacions Biomèdiques de la Ressonància Magnètica Nuclear”. Our research group works in the Biomedical Applications of Magnetic Resonance. We belong to the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Department located at the Faculty of Biosciences (Preclinical models team), and at the Institut de Biotecnologia i Biomedicina (DSS development team) of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Professor Carles Arús is our group leader: Our present research interests are: • Biomedical applications of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (NMR) • Development of Decision Support Systems (DSS) based on Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (MRS) for clinical diagnosis of human brain tumours • In vivo tumour progression/therapy response markers in preclinical models of cancer using molecular imaging-based in vivo MRS.
